Recently, it was observered that steps on a Ga deposited Si(111) surface
showed a comb-like pattern. Bearing this phenomenon in mind , we investigated pattern formation uing phase-field model.
In our talk, we will report the stability of a regular pattern and
the mechanism of selecting the final steady pattern.
